General Information

Juniper is used for digestion problems including upset stomach, intestinal gas (flatulence), heartburn, bloating, and loss of appetite, as well as gastrointestinal (GI) infections and intestinal worms. It is also used for urinary tract infections (UTIs) and kidney and bladder stones.

Use in the Craft

Juniper is widely used as a protective herb and guards against theft. Hung at the door it protects against evil forces and persons, also burned in exorcism rites. Add the berries to love mixtures and when carried in sachets or burned aids psychic powers and breaks hexes and curses.
